What We Need to See in Your Photo
Your water heater photo must clearly show:
- The manufacture date OR serial number plate
- Clear, readable text (no blurry photos)
- The full water heater unit
Photo Tips:
- Use good lighting
- Get close enough to read the date/serial number
- Clean the plate if it's dusty or dirty
- Take multiple angles if needed
Not sure where to find the date? It’s usually on a metal plate on the side of the unit.
Who Can Enter?
To be Eligible, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be the homeowner of the property
- Have a water heater in working condition
- Live within Metcalf Plumbing's service area:
- Baltimore County, MD
- Howard County, MD
- Including: Catonsville, Halethorpe, Arbutus, Relay, Ellicott City, Columbia, Elkridge, Clarksville, Owings Mills, Glen Burnie, Towson, and surrounding areas
