Oldest Water Heater Contest – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility
The Oldest Water Heater Contest is open to homeowners in our service area who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The water heater must be in working condition.
2. How to Enter
Participants must submit a photo of their water heater clearly showing the unit and its manufacture date or serial number, along with their name and contact information, as directed in the contest post. Entries must be submitted by June 20, 2026.

The winner will be determined based on the oldest verifiable manufacture date of the water heater. If multiple entries share the same manufacture year, the winner will be selected at the sole discretion of Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC.
4. Verification
All entries are subject to verification. The selected winner may be required to provide additional proof of ownership and access to the water heater for confirmation before the prize is awarded.
5. Prize
The prize consists of a free standard water heater replacement. Prize has no cash value and may not be transferred or substituted. Installation requirements, code upgrades, permits, and additional materials not included in the prize may be the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.
6. Installation Requirements
The water heater must be located within Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC’s service area and installed in a location deemed safe and accessible by company technicians. If installation is not feasible, Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.
7. Announcement of Winner
The winner will be contacted via the information provided at entry and may be announced on Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC’s social media platforms. Failure to respond within 48 hours may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
8. Use of Entries
By entering, participants grant Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC permission to use submitted photos, names, and contest details for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
9. General Conditions
Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical issues, or other factors beyond reasonable control compromise the integrity of the Contest.
10. Release of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Metcalf Plumbing Service, LLC from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize.
